Soil Settlement Refurbishment

 

Soil settlement in planter is an ongoing issue, as organics naturally breakdown and the soil reduces in volume.  This can be mitigated and settlement can be significantly slowed with proper installation and design.  In this example, soil settlement caused the path to slum and fail, in addition to causing damage to the irrigation system.  Robert W. Poyas, Inc. renovated the installation by stabilizing the entire planter, properly compacting the soil, and building structural components into the design to minimize settlement.
